How to join a watch party
Keep your invitation through sign-in, request private-room approval and recover from common joining problems.
Start with the full invitation
Ask the host for the complete Nexora room link or six character room code. Open that link before signing in so the intended room stays with your account flow. Do not accept requests to share your password, provider cookies or account tokens.
Sign in to your own account
Nexora rooms require a Nexora account. Continue with Google or email and follow any confirmation prompt. Your account is separate from your Netflix or Prime subscription. After sign-in, return to the same invitation if the room has not opened automatically.
Wait for private approval
A private room requires the owner to approve you. The link identifies the room but does not grant membership. Submit the request once and wait for a decision. If it expires, ask the host whether another request is needed.
Check the source before starting
For YouTube, a supported video plays in the official room player. For Netflix and Prime, open the provider separately with your own authorized account and follow the countdown. Ask the host which method the group is using.
Recover from an unavailable room
An invalid code, ended room or changed permission cannot be repaired by refreshing indefinitely. Ask for a new invitation. If your connection dropped, reopen the valid link and try again. For playback, tap the player when autoplay is blocked and use Sync playback when the room reference drifts.
