Watch a supported YouTube video with friends in the same Nexora room. The official player stays on each participant’s device while Nexora coordinates playback.
Create your YouTube room
Create or sign in to your Nexora account. Choose YouTube on Create a room, enter a room name and paste a watch URL, youtu.be link, Shorts link or video ID. Choose public or private access and who can control playback.
Invite friends and join
Copy the room invitation or six character room code. Friends sign in to their own Nexora accounts and open the invitation or find the room by code. Private rooms require owner approval. A link is not permission to enter a private room.
Play, pause and seek together
The host, or room members when everyone controls playback, can play, pause and seek. New arrivals follow the room’s current reference position. Buffering and connection changes can cause drift; use Sync playback to recover. Nexora does not promise frame perfect timing.
Supported links and accounts
Only videos YouTube permits in its official embedded player can play. Age restrictions, private or removed videos and regional restrictions may prevent playback. Playlist-only import is not available; a watch link with a playlist parameter adds that video. Connecting your personal YouTube library is separate and not required to paste a public video link.
Troubleshoot joining and playback
Keep the full invitation when signing in. For a private room, wait for owner approval. If the room ended, request a new link. Tap the player if autoplay is blocked, check your connection and use Sync playback. If YouTube disallows the video, choose another permitted video. Official provider ads remain unchanged.
